Flow Free

This game is a puzzle solving game with a twist. What I like most about this game is it requires a lot of thought and strategizing but its also a very laid back game with no pressure or time limit. Although this can be a very complex game the end goal is very straight forward and once a player gets the hang of it they can think quickly and dive deep into the game. The simple color scheme keeps the focus on the strategy of the game. One critique is that the colors can be a little bit too bright and shocking to the eye. However, this may be intentional to draw a distinct difference between the colors but it can be a bit of a strain on the eye. Although I enjoy the simple aesthetic of this game I think maybe adding a little more to the design could make the aesthetics a little more visually interesting.

Jewelish

Jewelish (also known as Bejeweled) is another simple game that is easy for anyone to enjoy. This game may seem super simple but can involve deep thinking and strategy. One of the best parts of this game is it can be a very mindless game that doesn't require too much thinking and focus. The color scheme of this game works well as it grabs the players' attention. This game is clearly a copy of Bejeweled with less appealing aesthetics. The jewels look much less realistic than the ones in Bejeweled. Another thing that could be improved upon is the ability of the bombs, the explosion is not as intense as one would think especially when compared to the original Bejeweled. Lastly, the sounds can be a bit distracting because there are voices saying "good" or "nice" which seem very robotic and not commending.
